Chiara, Sorry for the delay, here is some information I have just received by email from Annie Morton of Tsila Organics. ''Today, most fragrances are no longer made from natural substances, but are made from synthetic chemicals. Synthetic fragrances are commonly used in personal care products (perfume, soap, shampoo, shaving cream, lotion, face cream and deodorant) and can also be found in household products (laundry detergent, dish soap, cleaners, air fresheners etc.) We are constantly being exposed to synthetic fragrance-chemicals. The fragrance industry regularly uses more than 3,000 chemical ingredients to create perfumes and fragrances. About 95% of these ingredients are synthetic. There can be as many as 100 chemicals in a single fragrance. Synthetic fragrances are used because they are readily available and more affordable than pure natural essential oils and natural extracts. Most adverse reactions to cosmetics and toiletries are caused by synthetic fragrance chemicals, which are known irritants and allergens. About 5% of us cannot tolerate synthetic fragrances, while up to 30% are sensitive in some way. Synthetic fragrances can aggravate asthma, cause headaches, and trigger allergic reactions Many of us have encountered synthetic fragrances that cause us to sneeze or give us violent coughing or even rashes and other skin irritations. Tsi-La Organic fragrances are founded by women who are unable to wear traditional perfume due to allergies caused by synthetic fragrance. All Tsi-La perfumes that hold our seal do not contain any synthetic fragrances - only the purest, natural and organic essential oils, plant botanicals and extracts. All of Tsi-La living flower perfumes are infused with ingredients that deliver healthful benefits'' Annie Morton

Thank you for your comments Ladies! Chiara, with regards to your perfume concern, I actually at times have a similar problem, infact some perfumes actually make wheezy and itchy! It is because lots of Fragrances contain chemicals and unnatural fragrances so if you are a sensitive type it can have a reaction on your system. Even though essential oils are natural they are very concetrated so to apply them undiluted to your skin is not a good idea. Try a natural, organic fragrance such as http://www.tsilaorganics.com/_perfume_finder.php I have actually emailed the founder of this fragrance, Annie Morton, who is going give us a bit more detail, she is in New York so will be getting back with a response shortly which I will post on here for you.! Love Nathalie x

This isn't related to radiance but as you seem to know so much Nathalie I thought I'd ask. I find most perfumes really difficult to wear as they make me sneeze and the smell gives me a headache! Do you have any advice for where to find natural, nice smelling perfumes? I am using essential oils at the moment but the smell is a little too strong for my tastes. Thanks, Chiara

Hi Poppy, Elemis do a fab product called Papaya Enzyme Peel which is a cream exfoliater (so no granules), the enzymes eat up the dead skin cells and it really leaves your skin beautifully radiant, it also is very gentle. You can read more about it here www.elemis.com xxx Nathalie x

Is there any exfoliator that you could recommend that isn't to abrasive but effective? Thank you!
