Cambridge comforts. 

I’m visiting family in Cambridge this weekend so the comfies have come out. I’m wearing my weekend staple trainers: black & white high tops by Ethletic from The Faicorp.com, made from organic Fairtrade cotton and FSC certified rubber.

My jeans and oversized carpet bag are both from my favourite vintage haunt in Leeds, Ryan's vintage, where I spent 4 happy student years hunting for one-off finds. I’ve teamed these with a double breasted jacket from Whistles, which I bought late last winter from the Oxfam Online Shop and a Fairtrade cotton long-sleeved white top that I’ve had for a few years by the brilliant People Tree. The leather and stretch lycra/cotton gloves once belonged to my grandma and came in the most amazing leather pouch with embossed sections for “handkerchiefs” and “gloves”.  I just can’t imagine finding one of those in a shop now.  My brass inlaid bangles I bought from the Oxfam ethical collection last year and will match all of my mustard purchases this winter.
