Breton-esque stripes never go out of style

It’s the middle of the week already and I’ve done literally no work. This can only mean one thing... Study Day!
For this fun-filled day of essays and tea I am decked out in that eco-fashion favourite: People Tree.
People Tree was the first ethical clothing range I was introduced to and this top – this brilliant, brilliant top – was the first item ever I purchased from them. Using fair-trade and organic materials, their pieces always feel like such great quality and wears really well. Over the last few years I have worn this stripy number almost continuously; from slouching around the house, to going out for an evening with friends, to being an au pair, this top has never let me down.
However, I cannot tell a lie, these People Tree trousers actually belong to my housemate. But I have temporarily adopted them this past week or so because I like them so much.
The scarf that is nonchalantly draped over my arm is from Antiform; another great ethical company that up-cycles unwanted fabric into really unique designs. This particular scarf is made from recycled wool.
