Fridays are a bit of a dressdrag. I can never be bothered to trot home before the razzle, so I always have to cope with raised brows at work. 

But I like lace, so... And lookylooky, a full-circle skirt. It was a bit of a surprise from Maharishi. If you had a sartorially-barren youth like me then you probably had a pair of Maharishi aladdin pants, complete with patchwork and bells. Mine cost an utter cow in Ken Market and I wore them to death. They were the uniform of crusties and perfect festival kit, as they doubled up as a sleeping bag or part-time coin purse (if you were so inclined). As you can see, Maharishi have grown-up a bit, and gotten really cutesy too. It was £25 from the very excellent P&A Fair. The next one is on Sunday 19th February, at the Hammersmith Town Hall and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Cash only and do be sure to make a complete circuit before you buy anything, as it is rammup with treasures and you'll only go and find something else you like more. 

Have also turned my boringly black shoes into a pair of wedges with a splay of spotty sock. And the top is one of those almost-slutty things I got off eBay for the price of a Mr. Whippy. It's perfect for those days when I have no idea what to do with myself.
