Anna shows off her charity shop bargain dress coat

Ugh. Tuesday. I hate Tuesdays. The only thing that could possibly cheer me up on a Tuesday is this little number. I don't really know what this is. Sometimes I wear it as a jacket, but when I'm particularly stodgy it serves as a button-dress. It's is nice and kicky, so it hides lumpy bumps and it's jolly warm with undergarbs and a coat. I'd actually forgotten just how knicker-flashy it is, so peeking out of the bottom is a little gold skirt for so to save my blushes.
Amazingly I found this dresscoat in a charity shop in Taunton. If ever in a blue moon you find yourself there, then head down to the bridge. Scattered either side is a little clutch of sell-all junk shops. I bought this coat from the St Margaret's Somerset Hospice Shop for £7.99 along with a stack of huge blue-glaze plates and a mug with a naughty word on its base. If in doubt always go in. But please please never ever barter in a charity shop, I caught someone doing this the other day and strong words were had. I mean, really.
Tucking me in is a £15 brass bracelet belt from the accessories-and-all Retro on Pembridge Road, they have fab and relatively well-priced jewellery, plates and the odd jelly mould. Perfect locale to find eccentric gifts or bedazzlers. And these sexed-up clog-wedges were £15 from TK Maxx.
