Continuing with the eye-catching-shades-for-dull-days theme, it was on with a vintage dress bought from eBay, layered over a yellow polo neck from a charity shop. The belt was my grandma’s (she had quite a collection), and the faux-fur coat was pulled gleefully from a rail of anoraks in my local charity shop. I ‘appropriated’ the ankle boots from my mum, who wore primarily second hand clothes in her student days and then fortuitously stored them away. Many of these bargains have winged their way from her collection into mine. The socks are from a Japanese brand called ‘Nanadecor’ that specialises in ethically produced cotton and wool. I was given them after modeling for their lookbook – and now have my eye on their delectable looking underwear range. As before, the jewellery is all vintage.

Living rurally has many advantages, but there’s no pulsing metropolis nearby. So I relished the chance to spend some time flicking through books in my local town, alongside a visit to the flea market and a café pit-stop.
