EJF’s mission is to ‘Protect People and Planet’ by resolving environmental destruction and associated human rights abuses.

EJF provides support to grassroots organisations in the developing world who are working to investigate, expose and peacefully resolve threats to their local environments and the communities dependent on them. Our partnerships are linked to dynamic and compelling high impact advocacy campaigns that significantly raise awareness amongst global decision makers, whose decisions can, and do, make a difference to the lives of communities across the globe.

We provide film and advocacy training to enable environmental and human rights defenders to document and highlight abuses and to create awareness for long term solutions because we believe that ‘environmental security is a human right.
